The Western Idaho Fair is pleased to announce our fantastic grandstand lineup for the 2016 Fair, all of which are free with gate admission. Advance tickets for the Fair go on sale TODAY at ShareMyFair.com.

The DISH Grandstand concert line-up includes:

“This year promises to be one of our best lineups yet, with great acts for country and rock fans alike,” said Western Idaho Fair Director Bob Batista. “And as always, all shows are free with gate admission. This one is one you won’t want to miss.”

Since 1976, Foreigner has produced hits to define a generation of music, including rock-and-roll classics like “Hot Blooded,” “Cold as Ice,” “Jukebox Hero,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and more. With ten multi-platinum albums and sixteen Top 30 hits, they are universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world.

When Pat Bentar and Neil Giraldo met in 1979, there was instant chemistry. And over the course of their creative partnership, they have sold over 26 million albums and won numerous Grammy awards for timeless hits including “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” “Love is a Battlefield,” “We Belong,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Promises in the Dark” among many others.

LOCASH’s journey to this point has included writing hits like “Truck Yeah” for Tim McGraw’s comeback album, their first number-one hit “You Gonna Fly” for Keith Urban, and performing at Times Square on New Year’s Eve. Most recently, they played “I Know Somebody” for a raucous crowd on Jimmy Kimmel Live. But the best is yet to come for them, and we’re excited they’re kicking it with us for a night at the Western Idaho Fair.

Josh Turner’s 2003 Platinum-selling debut album Long Black Train established him as a formidable hit-maker. Between that and his most recent album Punching Bag, he’s sold 12 million units, been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and earned multiple Grammy, Country Music Award and American Country Music nominations. His hits include “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Firecracker,” and “Time is Love,” the most-played country song of 2012.

The concert stage is where country band Sawyer Brown blossomed—and continues to bloom today more than 30 years after their live debut. Known for their high-energy, no-holds-barred approach, they keep packing venues across the country with the same enthusiasm they’ve always had.

Fair time is carnival time for many who attend the Western Idaho Fair. If you’re a ride-hopping, thrill-seeking, stuffed-bear-winning kind of Fairgoer, here’s what you can expect from the 2015 Western Idaho Fair:

  • Turbo Force – Head on up and let gravity take control in this spinning, thrilling ride for the older crowd. Then take a “I just got off a sweet ride!” selfie with #ShareMyFair.
  • Fireball – Spinning and falling in seated rows of four. If the video’s any indication, you might want some earplugs.
  • Vertigo – Swing around the center pole as you climb and return back to Earth.
  • White Water Flume Ride – It’ll be hot—so it’s the perfect opportunity for some water rides! Cool off on the log flume so you can resume your Fair exploration.

For a full list of rides and height requirements, check out the list online. And don’t forget: buy your tickets early to save on carnival wristbands for the whole family!
